Founded in 1928, Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC), the parent company of NAPA Auto Parts is a service organization engaged in the distribution of automotive replacement parts, industrial replacement parts, office products and electrical/electronic materials. GPC products and services are offered through a network of approximately 2,600 operations located throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand.
The Automotive Parts Group which is 53% of total GPC Net Sales distributes automotive replacement parts, accessory items and service items throughout North America, Australia and New Zealand. In North America, parts are sold primarily under the NAPA brand name, widely recognized for quality parts, quality service and knowledgeable people. The Company’s GPC Asia Pacific business serves the Australasian markets primarily under the brand name Repco.
